I am the author of “The Saints of San Simeon”, on the Central Coast of California.
This book tells the story of the saints depicted at Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument, Hearst Castle.

Being an interpretive guide at the castle, our job was to inform the public about the many celebrities hanging out at the castle and the rare extensive 15th and 16th century collection amassed by newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst who was an avid collector of many artifacts in the 1920’s and 1930’s which included devotional art.

“The Saints of San Simeon” describes the driven lives of these saints, how they lived and how they died. How they came from different parts of the world, different centuries and different walks of life, yet  unlike the people of the past, never left the hilltop.  I hope you enjoy the book about the saints living here on the Central Coast of California.
